Preview: Arkansas Razorbacks at Texas A&M Aggies COLLEGE STATION, Texas (Interstat) — Two Southeastern Conference women’s basketball teams seeking momentum will meet Sunday when the Texas A&M Aggies host the Arkansas Razorbacks at Reed Arena. The Aggies (11-11) enter on a high note after an impressive 82-74 road victory at Tennessee on Thursday. Guard Ny’Ceara Pryor powered the win with 22 points and 10 assists, her second double-double in three games. Texas A&M has won three of its last four, showing improved form after a mid-season slump. Conversely, Arkansas (11-17) is mired in a prolonged downturn, having lost nine consecutive games. The Razorbacks are coming off a 93-62 home loss to Texas on Thursday. Despite the team’s struggles, guard Taleyah Jones has been a consistent offensive bright spot, averaging 19.1 points per game during the losing streak, including a 24-point performance against Missouri on Feb. 5. The matchup features a contrast in backcourt stars. Pryor’s dynamic playmaking for the Aggies—she has 33 assists over her last three games—will be countered by Jones’s high-volume scoring for the Razorbacks. Arkansas will need more secondary production to keep pace, as evidenced by only two players reaching double figures in the loss to Texas. Texas A&M holds a .500 record but has been inconsistent at home in SEC play. Arkansas, winless in conference action since early January, is desperate to halt its slide. The Razorbacks’ defense, which has allowed an average of 83.4 points during the nine-game skid, will be tested by an Aggie offense rejuvenated by Pryor’s recent facilitation. Sunday’s contest is the only scheduled meeting between the teams this regular season. Following this game, Texas A&M will host Mississippi State on Thursday, while Arkansas travels to face Oklahoma. Tip-off is set for Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026, in College Station.
